WALK-THROUGH – A final tour of a property by a buyer,
prior to settlement, to verify that the terms of a sales contract are being
met, and that the property is being conveyed to them in satisfactory condition.
WARRANTY DEED – A deed that warrants the title to a property
(NOT the condition of the property). In a GENERAL (or FULL) WARRANTY
DEED, the grantor warrants the title all the way back in time. A SPECIAL
WARRANTY DEED only covers the time that the grantor owns the property.
WRAPAROUND – A type of loan where the lender assumes the original loan on a property, plus loans additional money to the borrower. The borrower makes one payment to the lender, and the lender continues to make payments on the original loan.
